Job Title: Fish Process Operatives



Job Type: Temporary Full Time - Long Term

Pay Rate: £6.50 per hour to £9.75 per hour



Area: Glasgow East End



Hours of Work: Monday to Friday - 6.30am till finish – 40 to 60 hours per week. Some flexibility is required due to production demands.



English Level Required: Minimum – Communicative English



Search Consultancy are seeking a number of Fish Process Operatives to work within the busy production area of our client based in Glasgow’s East End. This position is on a temporary long term and full time basis working dayshift hours Monday to Friday.



Main duties include removing pin bones from salmon using tweezers or similar tools, basic knife work on the trimming line to shape the salmon fillets, operation of machines including feeding product into machines and packing fish into ice packs in preparation for despatch. Some lifting involved therefore a degree of physical fitness is required.



Candidates should be comfortable working in a lightly chilled environment, be looking to settle in long term or permanent employment and have an enthusiastic, can do approach to their work.
