You will be a qualified 7.5 tonne driver working with the distribution team to achieve delivery targets. You will ensure that all stock and paperwork is checked prior to delivery, furniture is loaded onto the van safely and securely and set route plans are followed. The vehicle must be kept clean and well maintained and driven in keeping with all legal requirements. Furniture must be delivered, assembled and positioned to customers' requirements. Damage and service issues must be reported promptly and in the correct way. You will have a strong commitment to customer service. There may be occasions where you will be required to work in the warehouse to gain experience in all aspects of the job. You will also receive performance related bonuses, a contributory pension scheme, life assurance.
