 We are a well established company in the shipping sector looking to expand our Sales and Business Development team due to greater client demands and constant business expansion.

 

This is not any normal sales job, but more Business Development where your job is to entertain clients with lunches, dinners and drinks, attend industry events, maintaining business relationships and source for new ones.

 

As we are growing, we are now looking to expand our Sales and Business Development team in order to meet our clients increasing demands and to extend our client base. The shipping and commodities industry is fast paced as nothing else; hence we are looking for a young and dynamic person with relevant sales experience.

 

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 4 years of sales and business development experience. You will be confident, driven, dynamic, proactive and committed to joining a growing organisation to develop your career further. You will have excellent communication skills, high levels of self motivation, integrity and excellent time management skills. This role requires an individual with strong sales knowledge, business acumen and the ability to network at all levels.



We currently have 2 offices in Europe and 1 in West Africa; you will be based in our central London office, which is also our main office, interacting with our local and international clients. This is very much a warm desk, however business development is essential and an important part of this role in order to make the company grow even further.



This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established, yet growing company where the career growth and potential is very good depending on your performance and commitment. The perfect candidate will have previous experience in shipping and/or commodities, however this is not an requirement as long as you will be considered suitable for the role.



Basic computer knowledge is a must, ie. Word, Excel, Power Point.

 

You will be provided with relevant working tools.

 

Occasional travelling will be a part of the job.
