SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Programmer Industry Sector Electronics Skills Hand soldering, machine programming, inspections Job Description Morson International is looking for a SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Programmer on behalf of our new client based in Oldham. My client is a design and manufacturing facility for the electronics and electromechanical industry.



Permanent position

Salary £20k



Job Summary:



Individual will create new and modify existing surface mount technology programs to be utilized for PCB assembly processing. Individual will also be responsible for ordering stencils and communicating relevant engineering change orders to impacted parties in SMT processing.



Duties and Responsibilities:



■Create new and modify existing programs used in SMT processing.

■Solder paste printing (Hand soldering)

■Establish priorities and proceed with objectives in order to adhere to the production schedule accordingly, with direction from Operations and Production Managers.

■Assist to troubleshoot and resolve programming problems occurring during the operation of the pick and place machine.

■Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

■Communicate status of deliverables and issues with programming schedule compliance to production and sales/marketing in a timely manner.

■Order new/revised stencils in a timely manner, according to the production schedule.
