Deputy Manager position available in a Nursing Home in Kent!!

For their client, a care home with nursing that accommodates around 35 elderly residents, we currently are seeking for a full time Deputy Manager.

The home provides care to people residing there permanently as well as short or convalescent care.

The role of a Deputy Manager is to work closely with the Home Manager and perform the duties for the Manager as and when required as well as take charge of the Home in rotation with other staff.

To make sure the home is run smoothly, that the care delivered to residents is on the highest standard with respect to their independence, choice and privacy is respected at all times.

Deputy Manager is also responsible for keeping the documentation completed and up to date as well as the disposing, ordering and returning of medication is properly controlled.

Should also always be available to advice other staff or train properly.

Required:

- RGN qualifications – First level registration

- Previous UK experience while working in similar environment

- Good level of spoken and written English which results in ability to communicate effectively

- Ability to work unsupervised

- Time management, Work to deadlines

- Ability to prioritise and organize workload

Desired:

- Knowledge of NMC Code of Professional Conduct

- Knowledge of statutory requirements and CQC in particular

Details of vacancy:

- Full time – 40hours/week contracted

- Starting salary of £29K per annum
