Symbox are a leading time-to-value provider of process management software. Symbox have pioneered the "appliance" approach by combining hardware and software in a single package that is quick to deploy and easy to support.

 

We are a small British company based in West London, that make our own web-based software and we have some big international clients.

 

We are looking to recruit some Support Analysts to provide technical support to our clients, the role will be based from our offices in Hammersmith, London and will include some shift/on-call working.

 

The ideal candiates will have a good working knowledge of the following:

 



SQL - writing queries and reports, insert/update, stored procedures

HTML - writing HTML, styles and CSS

JavaScript - functions, variables, form field validation and formatting



 

Any knowledge of the following would be beneficial but not necessary:

 



Perl

JAVA / JBOSS

Linux / Apache

Web Services / XML

TCPIP

Web Design



 

The following personal qualities are required:

 

• Able to prioritize and multi-task

• Punctual and reliable

• Organised approach to time management with good administrative skills

• Analytical mind with ability to solve problems but know when to ask for help

• Able to work under pressure and balance multiple demands

• Smart and well presented

• Clear and concise written communication

• Good telephone manner and command of English language

• Willing to work hours required to "get the job done"

• Honest, Personable and sociable

• Willing to learn

• Must be able to commute daily to Hammersmith

• Good sense of humour
